| | Description: | Vintage 1940's diamond ring marked Ruth.Pall., short for Ruthenium Palladium, part of the platinum group of metals. During WWII precious metals were used for war production so the jewelry industry turned to other metal sources. The center European cut diamond weighs .77ct., H color and VS2 clarity. There are 24 additional European cut diamonds weighing an estimated 1.75ct. total weight with H color and an average SI clarity. The diamonds are bright and lively, all matching and original to the ring. A few of the small diamonds show light wear on their surfaces but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the ring. This piece is unique for its materials and the era it was made. This ring has a lovely hand pierced pattern with milgrain details. Finger size 7.5, the ring top measures 26.7mm long and 16mm across.
