| | Description: | 14K yellow gold custom designed oval opal ring.
The opal is a clear opal with pin point flash of mostly blue and green color. There is an area of the natural gray potch on the back of the opal. A custom made hand pierced pronged head holds the 21mm X 11mm oval opal estimated weight of 5.55 ct. A hand carved cherub is attached to each side of the oval head making up the shank of the ring. Ring size 7 1/2 with an adjustable shank that opens in the back to slip over a finger with a large knuckle. The adjustable shank holds the ring upright. The opal is evenly colored with no dead spots.(A very light scratch on surface of opal at 10X) A fine quality opal. Note:lines you see on photo 4 are shadows. Made in the 1980s.
