| | Description: | 14K yellow gold Victorian era watch fob, circa 1880s. The double sided fob contains a rectangular uncarved onyx on one side and an uncarved rectangular carnelian on the other. Customarily these stones would have been carved with a family crest or monogram but occasionally we find them uncarved. The frame is substantial, measuring 1.5 inches long total length and .75 inch across. The top of the frame is attached to the sides with a rivet; one is a replacement. A nice piece that can also be worn as a pendant.
