| | Description: | Omega & Tissot produced watches together for a short time, roughly 1935-1950's, as a result of a shortage of workers at both companies. Here is a fine example of that short-lived collaboration: Rectangle Vintage Omega Watch Co. Tissot wristwatch with flexible lugs and Caliber 20 movement, circa 1938. 46mm(including lugs) 33mm x 22mm gold plaque case with hinged snap back signed Tissot. Case has a great vintage design engraved on the sides and beautiful flexible lugs. Silver dial has been restored sometime in the past and shows some age. Arabic numerals, sub seconds at 6 o'clock. Tonneau shaped antimagnetic caliber 20 movement is functioning well. Case stamped Metal Plaque or Lamine Garanti 10 microns Tissot Swiss Made 920571. manual wind movement marked Tissot Omega Watch Co. 828521 Cal 20. . Overall this watch is in very good condition, showing no wear thru.
