| | Description: | Vintage 14K Longines Officers wristwatch from the late 1930's. Large 38mm 14K yellow gold case with hinged back. The dial has Arabic numbers, sub seconds at 6 o'clock, and has acquired a patina consistent with its age. The dial looks to be original, but could have been a very early restoration. The officer that received this watch most likely was high ranking as few of these were presented in gold. The manual wind caliber 15.94 movement is running and keeping time. Case stamped Longines 14K 5663445. Movement marked Longines 5663445, 1594. According to the Longines production list this movement was made in 1937-1938.
